All Frames are manufactured using High Impact, high performance PVCu conforming to BS EN 12608:2003 this ensures that the profiles are extruded to a defined European Standard of quality and consistency, covering aesthetic appearance, dimensions, colour fastness and strength of welds.

All profile edges are Ovolo featured internally and externally providing aesthetical symmetry, to provide a pleasing appearance both inside and outside.
Windows are manufactured in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 the British standard specification for plastic windows made from PVCu extruded hollow profiles, and associated security. Our security enhanced windows are also passed by the Association of Chief Police Officers specification Secure by Design.
Doors are manufactured to the defined performance and testing assessments of British Standard BS7412. The doors are also manufactured to the British Standard for Enhanced security PAS 024. Our security enhanced doors are also passed by the Association of Chief Police Officers specification Secure by Design.
All frames are fusion welded and NOT screwed together, which provides better corrosion stability.
All Outer Frame PVCu walls are approaching 3mm thickness rigidity and have 5 internal web chambers for reduction of thermal conductivity and improved structural strength stability.
All frames are reinforced throughout with galvanised steel to BS EN 10346:2009.
Severe weather rating for windows and doors openings and glazing is achieved by double seal using TPE (Themoplastic Elastomer) gaskets, fusion welded at each corner to eliminate shrinkage, TO BS 4255-1 and BPF 345/2.
“Argon” gas filled super spacer, Warm edge technology double glazed units tested to BS EN1279-2& 3 / BS EN 12150. Providing a 10 year guarantee. A Rated and B Rated glass by Pilkington. Energy Saving Trust recommended.

Adjustable friction and security spikes into metal keeps (not plastic).
Key locking handles with operational crank design for ease of operation with a closing contact stop to stop override. Excalibur plus locks include Twin Die Cast clawbolts, large steel mushroom espagnolette cams and double high strength steel shootbolts. Tested to over 100,000 operations of opening and closing the window including hook locks on the back of vents. Should you happen to leave your window open in poor weather, Excalibur Plus has been successfully tested to over 240 hours of intense salt spray based corrosion, exceeding the requirements BS EN 1670: 2007. Security Steel spiked hinges, anti-jemmy steel excluders. All locate into high tensile metal keeps. Night ventilation locking as standard. Bedroom casement windows will be fitted with special “Egress” style hinges, to provide an adequate means of escape for fire in accordance with the Building Regulations.
Corrosion resistant handles with multipoint locking controlled cylinder.
Door locks include 2 deep throw hook bolts, 2 deep throw deadbolts, centre latching facility with centre hook and roller cams. Combined locking provides improved security, weather-proofing and shuts out unwanted visitors.
